Job Responsibilities:
- The Usability Analyst is primarily responsible for analyzing business, software, and usability Job Requirements and developing detailed user Job experience designs for enhancements and new products or modules. He/She contributes to designing user interaction and visual designs ensuring that the final user Job experience of the product is intuitive, consistent, concise, comprehensible, and feasible, and that product designs conform to standards. He/She serves as the advocate for user community and is involved throughout the entire product design life cycle. The Usability Analyst serves as a subject matter expert and works with development teams to communicate design specifications and resolve problem with designs.
Job Requirements:
- 2 years of professional Job experience in one or more of the following: applicable programming languages, release engineering, software engineering process
- Strong verbal and written Work skills
- Proficient problem solving, interviewing and fact finding Work skills
- Strong analytical and technical Work skills
- Team work and organizational Work skills
- Self-motivation and discipline, ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication and interpersonal Work skills
- Job experience with low and high fidelity prototyping tools (Adobe Photoshop, MS Visio)
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Visual design Work skills - to create effective, consistent, and aesthetically pleasing visual design for complex web applications
- Prototyping Work skills - to create low and high fidelity prototypes to be up to date with proposed designs and solutions
- Information design Work skills - to conceptualize information organization
- Presentation Work skills - to present designs and solutions to the team members and other project participants.
- Analytical Work skills - to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from Job Requirements
- Knowledge of source code management and configuration management
- Some application user Job experience design Job experience specific to complex enterprise web applications
